As such, we are looking to fill a high-level organizational role known as an Integrator (for those familiar with EOS). We are looking for a person who can not only “fit” into our culture, but also add to it in a meaningful way.
About us:
● We are a local family-owned franchise
● We are veteran-owned
● We are committed to results, customer service, and an excellent customer experience
● We are committed to growth, without sacrificing any of the above
About you:
● Accountable: Central to the organization is personal accountability. We believe that individuals who hold themselves accountable add value to the organization and help us improve by highlighting areas for improvement as individuals and organization.
● Complementary to the Visionary: The Owner is our Visionary and is looking for a compatible Integrator to serve as the complementary driver of execution. The roles and individuals in the roles MUST be compatible and like-minded. The Integrator’s role is to provide the practicality and execution that complements the Visionary.
● Organizational and Process-Oriented: Our Integrator must be able to build structure and order into the organization, creating efficient systems and processes.
● Calm Under Pressure: Able to remain composed and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
● Strong Leadership Skills: Must be able to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive environment, while holding them accountable to company values and procedures.
● Excellent Communication: Provide clear and concise communication to the team and ensure alignment across departments. The ability to coach and mentor people of different backgrounds and temperaments is vital.
● Problem-Solver: Implement effective solutions within the framework of the company culture. Know when a problem is part of a larger trend or issue and inform the Visionary in order to eliminate the root causes of the problem.
● Execution-Driven: Possesses a strong bias for action and a relentless focus on getting things done.
Core Accountabilities of the Role:
● Leader and Manager: The Integrator leads, manages, and holds the 4-person leadership team accountable.
● Profit and Loss/Business Plan: The Integrator will be accountable for the business performance as measured by the P&L and the annual Business Plan.
● Integrator: The role is responsible for the coordinated effort of the Leadership Team to achieve goals while adhering to our Core Values.
● Project Executor: The Integrator must hold all Leadership Team members accountable for task completion and project execution that is in keeping with the spirit and intent of the project and the desired end state
About the Role:
The ideal person for this role is someone who KNOWS the company’s direction and leads the team in a way that gets them all pulling in that direction. You will LEAD THE LEADERS.
General Integrator Responsibilities Across The Leadership Team:
● LMA (Lead, Manage, and Accountable): This is the core. The Integrator leads each department head, manages their performance, and holds them accountable for their Rocks (priorities), KPIs, and commitments. This involves regular 1-on-1s, coaching, and performance reviews.
● Ensuring Clarity and Alignment: The Integrator translates the Visionary's broad vision into actionable plans for each department. They ensure that all department heads understand their roles, the company's goals, and how their individual efforts contribute to the larger picture.
● Breaking Down Silos: A crucial role is to ensure seamless communication and collaboration between departments. For example, ensuring Sales understands Operations' capacity, and Marketing's campaigns align with Sales' targets.
● Issue Resolution: The Integrator is the primary person to address and resolve cross-departmental issues, ensuring that obstacles are removed and progress is maintained. This often happens in Level 10 Meetings.
● Process Implementation and Adherence: While department heads are responsible for their specific processes, the Integrator ensures that company-wide processes are established, documented, and consistently followed by all departments to maintain efficiency and quality.
● Data and Metrics Oversight: The Integrator monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) for each department, ensuring data is accurate, reviewed, and used to drive decisions. They should know if Marketing's lead generation is healthy, if Sales conversion rates are good, if Operations' efficiency is high, and if Administration's financial reporting is timely.
